A Father & Son Journey

LAMwood Creations is an emerging family business founded in 2019 by father and son, Mark and Liam Waters. What started as a shared passion for woodworking has grown into a mission to rescue and repurpose quality Australian timber.

We source timber from urban land clearing, development, roadworks, storms, and the natural demise of trees throughout Victoria. We then dry, mill, and prepare this lumber, a process that takes a couple of years, before transforming it into one-of-a-kind pieces of fine furniture.

Our passion is for salvaging and repurposing timber that was destined to be discarded into landfill or firewood, transforming the natural beauty of this wood into admired and functional furniture for generations to enjoy.

Our Services & Products

Milling of Fallen Trees

The process of dividing a log piece into usable wood pieces, such as slabs. We bring our mobile bandsaw mill to your location or process logs at our facility.

Removal of Fallen Trees for Milling

After a tree has been dropped by an owner or arborist, we can assist by removing the fallen tree, transporting it, and processing it into valuable timber.

Creating Pieces of Furniture

We take our passion for woodturning and convert selected wood pieces to craft them into natural household items or centrepieces. From bowls to boxes to clocks.

Resin Pour Pieces

We want to capture stunning grain and features of wood that would ordinarily be discarded, using resin to amplify and preserve these wonderful natural beauties in tables and functional furniture.
